Hi, Jay....

_ Christmas cards are the only cards I buy already made--only because you can get them CHEAP after Christmas for the next year.
_ All others I make on my computer. I'm cheap!
_ I would be ticked off if I bought a $50.00 gift card but the value only showed up as 50 cents--Heads would roll, baby!
_ Good chapter.

Cheers & Blessings

This is a well written post, my friend. It was interesting to think that, as I have, what's the use in writing. Who is going to read my work anyway. However, people are reading our work, as you say. I enjoyed this tribute to those people who continue to visit the library for more books to read. This post held my attention well. After all, we have Kindle now. Huh! It's not a real book and you don't make much from it, as I've been told. I hope you can understand what I'm saying. Best wishes, my friend.

Always with respect,

Congratulations on being recognized. Nothing you ain't earned. Last time I went to
our county library, it was rows of computers up front and a few dusty bookshelves
in back. You can, of course, find classic books on the computers. Asimov, a real
fan of the book, said the percentage of readers doesn't change-a minority hanging in about the same. Well, here's to the readers. Excellent post.

Thanks, Red. Glad you enjoyed reading this. Yeah, the advantage of the classics on computers is that most of them are free.

As long as public libraries are alive and well with children's programs, after school and weekend events to introduce new readers to the wonders of books, writers are safe from extinction. We also have ebooks.
Your observation seems accurate.
