Six stars for Miranda for the up date from Brooke. I was surprised to see your Mom pop up again in my messages to read. It's been along time and I miss her always correcting me and suggesting this or that. Your Mom is greatly missed and appreciated. Bless her soul to have a great daughter and family! We all miss you, but some are getting kind of cocky, sprinkling commas like confetti and scattering exclamation points like rice at a wedding. In short, things are getting out of hand and writers are running amok sans your steadying influence. It's so bad, I got two sixes yesterday! We need you!

Such a thrill to find one of your messages in my box, Brooke, my dear friend. I have missed you so much. I hardly come on site anymore. You are one of the blessings on that site. Without your cheerful, upbeat little poems, the site loses so much of its lustre. It's a dying institution right now. Get better, get stronger, get on line! We miss you, Brooke. Your energy is issential. But meantime, as long as you get stronger and are well taken care of, that is all we can hope for at this point. But we hope, Brooke. You know we love you. Get better.

Thanks for posting an update from Brooke. I'm not on FS very much, but noticed she was not posting so made inquiries as to why. I was updated about her illness. I arrived on FS some 7/8 years ago. Brooke 'fanned' me and I fanned straight back. I would have read thousands of your mother's beautiful poetry. Maybe more than most of this site! She read every one of my stories till she became ill. Could you please give her my regards, from New Zealand, and tell her I hope the very best and a speedy recovery. Marion.
