The only word that come to mine (repeatedly) is yucky, yucky, and yucky. You give a whole new meaning to insanity in this one. And now she is out and about doing her dastardly deeds again, I am sure. Very good work with this one.

Good. First review of the morning instead of the last review of night. Gripping flash fiction. Juliette should not have been released. I am unsurprised she kept a trophy of her parents. This was a ghastly, ghoulish tiny tale. Thank you for scaring.

Another terrifying tale, Dean. You had me hooked from the first line and I thought that the tension you used to build up your scene and story was brilliant. I certainly wouldn't like to come across Juliette one of these days. Another great piece...Jacob

Very funny. Short and sweet but action packed. Story line easy to follow. She gave them more than just the finger. That's for sure. Write on.

Not very scary, just gruesome. You have to feel sorry for the mentally ill, and she was NOT cured. She must have still been insane when she left, given the price of gold; she didn't take the rings with her. Crazy girl will have nothing to live on. :)
Found a flaw: If she is institutionalized for MURDER, they will NOT let her out after a "short time" no matter what.

Thanks, Phyllis, but maybe it wasn't murder she was institutionalized for. Ever seen the film, "Sling Blade", starring Billy Bob Thorton? He was institutionalized for murder and he got out. Granted it was several years later, but he got out. I may rethink that portion of the story, however. it's just 172 words as it it.
Thanks again for your suggestions and review.

Sling Blade is one of my favorite movies of all time... have watched it over and over. What a masterpiece!

Me too. It's destined to be a classic. :)
