I loved everything about this poem.You presented a unique, but simple way to sum up an entire relationship. This was so cleverly written and the internal rhymes definitely added to this. Bravo!

Good solid rhyming couplets. Good end rhyming. Good internal rhyming. Good description that draws a clear image in my mind. Good rhythm and flow. Good complimentary photo followed by a clear message.

Very nicely done, great rhythm and rhyme as always and loved the bookends. Great job with a sad and not too good of an ending story.

No, I think my muse has died and gone who knows where. Even the ones I'd posted recently were ones I found that I had started long time ago and never finished, so I fixed them up a bit. I haven't written anything really new for over a year.

I do know what you mean. The process takes a little longer, and I actually found a whole file on my computer of fragments, and some of these are retrenched versions of those.

This is a different type of poem that seems to encapsulate a relationship into its beginning and end. I like the meter and rhyme scheme, as they lighten the mood and make a breakup more a fact than a dramatic scene.
