A cute, easy read. Well done. I think eliminating contractions within the poem would help with the overall flow. In some cases, the contractions distracted from the overall "melody." Otherwise, a great piece.

I love this. I especially like that although it is rhyming verse, there is a wonderful story to boot! The humor is evident and strong, and the meter is spot on. Very nice job!

Cute story in verse. i loved the story line and the moral at the end. Your poem had a marvelous rhythm and each line was graced with a well placed rhyme.

You are welcome. I wrote a story poem. It was "The Lost Nickel." I truly enjoyed it. It is a challenge.
