I like your approach to
defining what love is...
cleverly thoughtout and
well presented.
Good luck with the contest, my friend.

it is just wonderful how you have shown love in all its facets here. The style of picture and colours add to your meaning, not that your words need any addition. Lovely.

Very nice!
I don't understand a mothers love because I didn't have one but I do understand the love for a grandson. More than life itself. I imagine that's how God feels about us only ten fold. The love of lovers is there also.
Good free verse.

Then you will understand that love too - even though a degree removed, the love for a child is indeed unique my dear!

This is a most interesting look at love - reminds me of the old dressing tables with three mirrors (my Mum had one) and so you get the three images of the same person. The parent, the lover and carer of all. Thank you for this gentle read this morning - I found it a pleasure - Dinah

You have expressed the three faces of love, perfectly. The love of the mother, possibly being the strongest of all. This is an excellent contest entry, and could make a worthy winner, I wish you the very best of luck! xsx

I enjoyed your beautiful and accurate descriptions of the different kinds of love. There is the pure love of the parent for the child, the excitement of romantic love, and the glorious love of God. The ultimate journey to which we all aspire, a'fire with dreaming phosphorescent glory. Excellent way to describe something of almost unimaginable magnificence.

Three Faces of Love.
What can we say about love?
Well, you have described three different ways in this detailed writing.
I think my favorite love would have to be the first one.
My mother, when I was a child, always looked out for me and tried her best to keep me safe. I didn't always appreciate the methiods she used to supress some of my childhood ambitions, but I do love my mom.
I enjoyed your poem. It read well and smoothly
All the best in the contest

'Three Faces of Love' is quite a well-written and intriguing piece, but would in my opinion benefit with more stringent editing. This was an interesting piece to both read and review.
