Yeah this is pretty solid all the way through and really stands out for its ability to tell a story and sound extremely emotional. It hits all the right points about writing a poem and fits together powerfully. The rhyme hooks use pretty old and tried words but they work really well and there is a great pairing of descriptive words and imagery that shoots through it. It comes together well and has a nice tone. Not overly preachy, but very general and right-feeling. This can be liked and appreciated by a wide audience.

The point is made early and you repeat it in various ways.
Aren't there two poems here?
If you're speaking to youth, recall they have a short attention span.

Honesty and integrity seem to be lacking so often today. This is very well written and so true. Beautiful rhymes and flow with a strong message. We need to remember as we go through our lives, that we are an example that others may follow and act accordingly~Debbie

very interesting and bold message...i Iike your use of language and the rhythms you develop with each line that oubctuates the need to extablish dignity amomg the youth. this really gives off the feeling of a strong yet gentle command... strong and passionate with a pacing of thoughts that appeals to the emotions.
