What a wonderful tribute to your Mother! The poem has great flow and the woman you talk about was surely a gift from God. Watch out, you're love is showing...

Thank you! That is so sweet! I'm glad you liked the flow of it. I like the end" Watch out, your love is showing" What a cute way to put it. Thank you again!

Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful poem with us. Your words so reverberate how I feel about my late mother. Yes, I too am thankful for the short time I had her. This is a beautiful poem, my friend, and it brought tears to my eyes, and a lump to my throat.
Warmest regards, Marijke xxxxx

Oh, God bless you! I can't tell you what this means to me. You know what? I just got home form work and I was reading my messages, and it said this poem got the recognized ribbon and then after you sent this 6 star review, they gave it "all time best"! I can't thank you enough! This is the first time I've received that for any of my poems. I'm so glad it was for one about my Mom. If she was here now, she'd be wanting to hug you. Your review was more touching than my poems could ever be, but I thank you once again for this beautiful review and for your tears. God bless you!

Suzie Q, you are indeed fortunate that God gave you such a wonderful mother. My mother died in 1995 too and I still miss her. It is so refreshing to hear a poem that is all about the good things a mother does. I'm following several stories where the mother shouldn't have ever had children and left their children scarred for life. You peom rhymes beautifully and has a lovely rhythm. It was a pleasure to read.

Thank you so much! I'm sorry your Mom has passed too. Both in '95, wow! My Mom passed away 6-2. I haven't had the chance to follow any stories, but I know what you mean. My heart goes out to the kids today. Being a Mom is the hardest job for sure. I guess that's why I've never been one! Couldn't take it. It would break my heart to have to raise 'em in this world. My hat's off to the good ones! Thank you for mentioning the rhyme and rhythm. I'm always concerned about that. Thank you for reading it.

This is a very heartfelt poem. I feel the sincerity in your poem, the love you have for your mother and how much you appreciated she being there for you.

Nicely written, good choice of words, flowed smoothly and made me think about my relationship with my mother. I have found that writing poetry is a pathway in dealing with grief and it is very therapeutic.

Well done.

Thank you. I'm glad you feel that way cause I got about 3 more Mama tributes that I haven't posted yet. Hope God lets my Mom have a peek at all this beautiful reviews she's received. Of course, she'd wanna come back here just to hug all of you. Thanks again!

Suzie, after "Watching Wina" I myself have another mama story. But mine are fiction. Yours are very deep true stories.

At least you can write fiction. I couldn't even attempt it. Bravo!

I enjoyed this tribute to your mum.

From my earliest memory of my smallest deed
All that mattered to her was I tried
I think this is a difficult lesson to impart - it's not the winning but the journey that counts. Your mum did a great job teaching you this, to try. If we don't ever try putting in some effort to do things, are we truly living life? I see your mum's pride.

Till I join her above, please give her all my love
And a hug for every star in Your sky
These lines touched me. Though you're not able to take care and shower your mum with love for now, you have asked for the best care giver to represent you. Your mum is loved.

Thank you so much! Good grief, your review is prettier than the poem!:) Oh, and I love how you use "Mum" instead of Mom.

I have not read any of your previous tributes to your mom, but if this is anything to go off; then simply sublime!! Although the whole poem is a shining splendour,I found the last stanza most profound, because your mom is more than a heavenly friend or Angel, she's your Guardian Angel...now!Your heart will heal through her love and then you can move on.She's with you all the time now watching and Listening,so speak to her direct for she can hear you;I sincerely promise!!
My mother died 20006,you wouldn't believe the conversations I've had with her since her death, but I have!I am not grieving nor sorry that she's died, becuase It was her death that afforded me the chance to grow and learn that life is much more than we can humanly know.I miss her(physically)but know her spirit is with me always;and you the same Suzie Q!!
Great poem I thoroughly enjoyed reading and awarding you top marks;may you find some comfort from what I have said, peace and love...Colin.

Oh God bless you! I agree with everything you said 100% ! You can believe I've talked to her many a time. I feel her love with me always. She passed 6-2-95 The Good Lord has replaced the grief with just the pure joy of remembering her. And yes, her death actually made my faith and relationship with Jesus even stronger. He's amazing and so was she. Thank you so much for sharing!
