No matter where you are at, your imagination can work in your favor and you can have some fun. This is very well written with good imagery and descriptive scheme. Good luck in your contest.

Buck,
Had a death in the family, so just started writing again...the others I've written are blind...Thank you for the bit of cheer though, knowing I was missed.
Smiles to you as always, Carol

This is cute story. What an delightful picture you found. Yes boys will be boys. The snow was the perfect opportunity to have a war after just having seen the pirate movie. I like the surprise in the last sentence. Even sunny Florida gets snow occasionally.

Hello sweetness, this is a terrific visual story. Wow, so much action in 107 words. I could just see these two firing all out. What a fun vacation. I love dads and kids who have a close relationship.

I enjoyed this. I had to laugh at the moving pirate, fitted the story perfectly. An enjoyable short. Loved the ironic ending, lol.

I laughed this winter when my son told me they had actually seen snow in his home outside Tampa - since he and his wife fled to Florida to get away from snow after going to college in upstate NY. LOL Your story reminds me of that. A fun look at a family making the best of their snowy Florida vacation :-) Brooke
