I really liked this. You told an entire story in this song, I found myself mentally singing it instead of reading it. Good flow and pace. Good luck in the contest.

What I liked about this blues song was that it showed a redemptive quality in the singer. Not to quibble, but I think this may tend a bit more towards the 'country/western' side of song lyrics. Regardless, it's a fine entry with a great accompanying picture and background. Best of luck in the contest!

This is just awesome. After struggling to make my story come together, I sat here this morning, thinking I needed to do something different, clear my brain fog...this is what jumped out! So glad you think it's worth a read. I don't know about selling anything but I will be glad just if people enjoy it. Thanks so much for the kind review. CAro
