I loved the visuals conjured up here Sue, It has been a while but I still remember the emotions stirred up by the sight of the fresh virgin snow that has fallen during he night. Great job, good luck!

This is a beauty. Lovely words all flowing along together. The art work is perfect.
A blanket quilted, flake by flake
And all was hushed ~ a peaceful morn
A job well done. thank you. Miska

quilted, flake by flake - I like that
drifts sculpted like mountains carved - that is a grand image to visualize
decorated like a cake with swirled icing - each verse a new image and each one so beautiful
and then the couplet is so lightheartedly joyful - I've never seen this form before, but you seem to have followed all its rules in creating this lovely portrait of a winter storm

Totally enjoyed your writing. I could feel the cold, crunch of feet beneath the snow. I almost wanted to make a snowman!!! Thank you so much for writing something so wonderful.

What a lovely description of something I know absolutely nothing about! But I can clearly imagine it from your images. It all sounds so beautiful, but I guess, like our tropical storms, it can make day to day life difficult. It has lovely rhythm and flow - good luck with it. :)
