It sounds like you are having fun with this poem. Whether you like country music or not is irrelevant it is all in fun as to liking or not liking a certain style of music. I agree that country music is for the birds. I prefer classic rock over country music any day of the week. I also love jazz music because it makes my soul come alive. Thanks for sounding off as far as what genre of music you prefer.

to be on the Opry to what they are
writing and singing today is much better.
-That being said, I would say that
Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire" ranks way up there.

You are very welcome, Harry. Did you ever see Adam Lambert perform "The Ring of Fire" when he was on American Idol? It is a phenomenal performance. It should be on You Tube.

Now, you're scratching your fingernails across the half board and sending chills down my spine. I don't like all country music but sometimes you just have to be in the mood for a down-home story, one that rips the guts right out of you. then other times, lets get on the swinging, foot stomping heck of a good time. actually, I love almost every form of music (except the kind that splits my ear drums) and it's awesome when the sounds speak to us.
