Tremendous imagery. This is a top SHELF - like what I did there, Terry? - out-of-the-gates (of hell) offering. Full of imagination (well, someone else's imagination since that opening was filled and all...) and charisma. I will certainly be spellbound, like a Jewish girl seeing Santa's reindeer, to read more and more of your compositions. Best of luck to you!!

Congratulations. I would have given you six stars, but I gave away my last one to a great poet who actually wrote a great poem, which I did not understand. However, the meter was great and on point, the syllable count was perfect, the grammar exquisite, etc. The only problem I encountered was trying to figure out what the heck he was talking about. I always try to follow the K.I.S.S principle: Keep It Simple Stupid!

Congratulations. I would have given you six stars, but I gave away my last one to a great poet who actually wrote a great poem, which I did not understand. You are still keeping to the Christmas theme, Santa Claus! Anyway, glad to see you back. Let me add another reason for the poetry. For example, I have had so much more real life activity since moving closer to my grandkids and participating in a very active church, that I don't have time to write prose. So I write poetry. Take a look at Russian History. When times were calmer under an unfair monarchy, huge tomes were written. But after the Revolution, when life was tumultuous and there wasn't enough time for War and Peace and Brothers Karamazov, great poets were writing - probably unknown to the West.
