Thanks so much for the update Debi. Doctors can perform literal miracles and we are praying for God to grant such an outcome. Please continue to keep us updated. Blessings

Hi Marilyn, and thanks. I wasn't sure it was a good idea to bring this out but many said it would clear up the questions from where someone had requested prayers about it for me. So thanks for the very kind words and for the prayers.
love, Debi

I am sorry to hear you have suffered here with your right eye, I can empathise as I am slowly going blind in my left eye and nothing can be done about it. These trials we face in life can be debilitating and I hope the sight can be saved in your right eye Debi, they can work miracles today with new technology, love Dolly x x x

Hi Dolly and thanks. I wasn't sure it was a good idea to bring this out but many said it would clear up the questions from where someone had requested prayers about it for me. So thanks for the very kind words and for the prayers. I go in every day and yesterday showed another infection over the others. They just can't seem to win. I am not complaining but it is not looking good for my sight. But there are worse things out there than losing sight in one eye. As you know, it is frustrating as heck, but still have much to be thankful for.
love, Debi

I am sorry this has happened to you Debi, my problem has been going on for years so I am used to it, but the sudden loss of sight is much hard to deal with. I hope the outcome is good for you, love Dolly x x x

Hi Debi, I'm glad I came in tonight and
caught your story told my beautiful friend...
I will be praying for you tonight...
I know what it is to have eye problems...years
ago my eyes started getting dry when I slept...
we tried everything we could to moisten them
but it didn't work...so when I go to open them
they stick to my eye lids...and they rip my cornea
when I try to open them...for years I had to wear patches
to bed...I learned now when I wake up...not to open my eyes
to fast...
I hope and pray sweet girl they heal without having to have
surgery... God bless Debi...
though sad...your poem is very well written...and Kenzie Jo's
picture is perfect...well done...get well soon you...much love...

Oh Linda, you sweet friend, you. Thanks so very much. I wasn't sure it was a good idea to bring this out but many said it would clear up the questions from where someone had requested prayers about it for me. So thanks for the very kind words and for the prayers. I
I know that you deal with this all the time. I put a gel in my eye at night to keep it hydrated all night long. I am sure you have tried that.
Now my cornea is so full of abrasions from all the infections over the scratch. They thought they had the infections almost cleared and yesterday they found another infection. So the abrasions go on the back burner again. Thanks again, sweetie, and for the lovely six stars too.
love, Debi

Hi Debi, it's a good idea to post
the way we feel on FanStory...we are
a family...and you never know when someone has experienced the same things we have...and they may be able to help...
my allergies stop me from being able to use so many things...but I do try
the things my doctor says he thinks
are safe...
when my corneas word tear...I had to wear patches for a few days...and it did make the feelings like I had something sharp in my eyes go away...
I miss you...and will so keep you in my prayers...you are so very welcome my wonderful friend...love much...Linda xxoo 🙏🤗❤️🌼🥰

You have my prayers,
and more than that...
I nag you daily for reports!
Annoying? Ah, because I care...
prying for facts
my last resort!
I'm hoping, so,
the drops take hold,
avoiding surgery and such.
By now you know
(for you've been told )
You've been through just way to much!
I wish I could have warned'ya
about an injured cornea...
I'm not from California...
(but I needed that rhyme!)
Your doctor's dedicated.
I'm sure that he's "Eyely" rated--
It's not to be debated...
YOUR SIGHT MUST BE RESTORED!
I'm not sure how to stop this rhyme...
I'm running into overtime.
I hope your vision is sublime.
(I'll stop...before you're bored!)
(And yes, this is in...wait for it...
"EYE-AMBIC-PENTAMETER!)
Get better soon!

I am waiting for my brother to pick me up for today's appointment and have tried to write this thank you a few times, so I hope I make it before he gets here. Ok, I was reading along and doing fine. (First time I read it was in bed this morning) but when I got to the California part I got the biggest smile when you said you needed that rhyme.. I thought, yay, she really is my long lost sister..
Then when you got to he's eyely rated, I started chuckling...
Laughing out loud at running overtime, but the Eye-ambic-pentameter had me roaring... you missed your call, sister.
OMGosh how long did you work on this review? Please know that it is so appreciated and I laugh every time I see it. So thank you so much, thanks a million and thank you from the bottom of my heart, cause I can see much better with my heart these days. I hope you know how much I appreciate the stars because you do realize that at night when I look at them they still become fireworks, so thanks for the fireworks. That is the scar-tissue retinas doing that though. And thanks again for the best review ever!!
Love ya! Debi

I'm so glad you got a kick out of it! I had to do something special to show concern yet make you smile!
A laugh is even better!
I'm anxiously awaiting the results of today's visit!
Hugs!

This poem called "Abrasions" reveals the speaker's on-going difficulties with one eye's vision. It reminds me that my uncle had a cornea transplant twice and another eye operation recently. But all of that was on-going because a boy accidentally jabbed a knife in my uncle's eye when he was about four. I surely hope things turn out well for you, and it amazes me that you are still writing with great end rhymes as well.

My Dearest Debi,
I'm so sorry to hear you are having such problems with your eye. As soon as I read Helen's poem and note, I began praying for you, that God restores your vision, and that it begins with good news from the doctor on Friday. God is still in the miracle business. We are all rooting for you.

Hi Lorraine, and thanks. I wasn't sure it was a good idea to bring this out but many said it would clear up the questions from where she had requested prayers for me. Yesterday they found another infection, so we have another setback, but they are watching me like a hawk. So thanks for the very kind words and for the prayers.
