And the second great commandment is like the first; love your neighbor as yourself and then Jesus washed the Apostle's feet in the upper room.

Hmmm. I wonder what last line means exactly.

It was my fulfilling 150 characters.

Oh good grief.

Interesting comparison. I wish it was this way, unfortunately too many people want to hit us over the head with their words instead of making the world a better place.
Keep on believing and sharing your ideas.
I wish I knew more about poetry so I could give constructive criticism.

This form is so basic: 5 syllables, 7 syllables, 5 syllables. Even with my limited math skills, I can handle it!!
Thanks for your wise words. xo

I agreevwith you. If people claim to follow a Man who loved all, they should lobe all. If they follow a Man who didn't judge, they shout not judge. If they follow a Man who forgave, they should forgive. If not, then we have the right to call them hypocrites, as He did.
Excellent writing. Thought provoking, Rachelle!.
Best wishes,
Alex

There was a sing/songwriter from the 70's I just loved named Jim Croce. One of his songs was "Which Way Are You Goin'?" and the lyric that always stuck with me from that was, "You walk the streets of righteousness but you refuse to understand. You say you love the baby, and then you crucify the man." Isn't that awesome?
Anyway, that you for this affirming review. I couldn't appreciate it more. xo

I guess that's where the old adage, "actions speak louder than words", comes from. Some people use their religious beliefs to feel superior or feel better about themselves. I don't wear my religion or beliefs on my sleeve. To me my relationship with God is personal. If you ask, I'll tell. But other than that no. Truth in this. Gretchen

I love that approach to religion. I'm the same way about politics - maybe even more so. They are both very personal, and quite honestly, nobody else's business. Because, really, when has talking about either subject changed anyone's mind or improved a relationship if the people discussing it were on opposite sides of the fence?
Thanks for this extremely supportive and astute review. xo

Amen, Sister!
From every corner, from every life.
I heard a Twitter commenter say that he was a better Christian than these far right wingnuts in Congress - and he was an atheist!
And to remind us to show, not tell is always helpful.
Great 5-7-5.
