Hi Debi,
This poem flows well thought it has two forms of poetry. It has the overview of faith in the beginning sonnet. The it shows how Jesus comes into lives when he is needed most to guide and save. Then a short epilogue.
Keep writing and stay healthy.
Congrats on placing second in the contest

This was the perfect poem. It gave hope to the hopeless, life to the dying. It was a perfect poem. I woke up this morning, planning the perfect day. One child had other plans, one has to work, one will show up later and the last one is sleeping in. Just me and the dogs. But I feel at peace. We are lucky to celebrate the birth of Jesus. I loved this. Gretchen

This is a very lovely poem that you have presented us with, and I wish you the very best with all of your writing. May you have a very blessed Christmas, and a happy and prosperous new year. The hallelujah music that you put up was most pleasant to listen to her voice is absolutely lovely and the whole song is very soothing at this time of year. Beautiful post.

Debi, Sunday, Christmas Eve, and a well-written poem about salvation. You got a lot going on here. Add to that a picture that compliments the message of the poem.
I knew the music would be good, and I love the version of Hallelujah! Merry Christmas to you and all of yours! Terry.

As individuals, we all have a choice to make. We can follow the crowd, or we can make our own decision based on what we have learned and been convinced is the truth about not only Jesus, but also and more importantly, the who sent him to the earth to begin with. As important as Jesus was and is, not to be forgotten is his and our heavenly father, who directs our steps and those of his dear son Jesus as well. We must never forget that. Your poem is awesome and I love it.

Isn't it a sad thing that the "human race out of control" is both a statement of then and now. We sure don't learn as we live, do we?
You write of Jesus' calling to one and all, anyone who needs him may follow. That is His promise.
I like how you tie the image you've used into the last line of your poem. And I notice that Jesus has picked up quite a bit of luggage, which says something about human need.
An apt poem for Christmas and for any time of the year.
Thank you for sharing, Debi.

Hey Sis, I am always running behind, so I guess maybe that is the answer to which one is the oldest. I am sure I had to be born last since I am always behind. LOL
Thanks for the very kind review and words and for the awesome six stars. Thanks also for another fun year as sisters. I couldn?t ask for a better twin. You truly are the best. Happy New Year, sweet lady. Lotsa Love, Debi

Beautiful spiritual writing, Debi. When you're not tied down by birthdays - unless it's Jesus's of course - your verse flows even more successfully. A wonderful piece. Well done. x
