Poor Sandra, she's not having a great year. I will pray for her and hope that she is able to be home for Christmas. I have never heard that about us holding our grief in our lungs. It sounds as though you have a holistic PT.
Thanks for letting us know and giving us this poem for Sandra.

Yes, my PT is very non-conventional! I'll have to write about her. I'm not quite sure about it all but I did find she's been more effective than any PT or chiropractor I had before! Thanks so much, Pam! Happy New Year!

Thank you sharing these inspiring words, as well as the information on grief residing in lungs. My daughter and I are both asthmatic. I will now be more aware of how we feel. Not good to suppress emotions and grief. I wish Sandra the best.

Oh this was not the read I was hoping to wake up to today.
Helen, you penned a beautiful poem in prayer for Sandra, thank you.
Sandra, if you're reading these, I pray for your well being, recovery and release from the hospital as quickly as possible and back to your family. In the meantime, you know your second family right here has you in our prayers.
Blessing,
John

Thank you, John! Appreciate your prayer for Sandra. I haven't heard back from her yet.
I was thinking of you today as I made TWO lasagnas today - one vegetarian and one with meat. Have to please all family members. Hugs and Merry Christmas!!

Hi Helen. If you hear any news on Sandra, please PM me, unless of course you put the news in poetic form for everyone to share.
My daughter?s making lasagna for Christmas Day. We?re staying home on the Eve and doing a fish fry (only 4 fishes, 3,short).
Enjoy your lasagna. Have a glass of wine. Be safe, be well and in the spirit of the holidays, have a wonderful Christmas.

I heard from her today and she will have to be in the hospital until the New Year. But her husband will be there for her. Thanks for caring. You enjoy your lasagna, too! 💖🎄

Poor old Sandra, such a sweet lady, and a great talent as well, I've been enjoying her writing for many years now. We want her up and well, and operating on all cylinder, beautifully written Helen, thank you, blessings Roy

Thoughts and prayers for Sandra. This is a lovely prayer in a poem. The form works really well and the idea of releasing the pressure or weight on the chest is beautifully expressed.

What an interesting structure for a poem. And I didn't know about Sandra's illness. I do hope she pulls through. This Rondelet does have a rhyme scheme of AbAabbA with the repeating refrain in the first, third, and final line. I can count tetra-syllabic and dimeter in the refrain and tetrameter in the other lines.

Hello Helen,
thanks so much for letting us know about Sandra. As always, you're looking out for the well being of others, thank you. I'll certainly keep her in my prayers. As we age, we seem to have to deal with more and more health issues unfortunately.
Have a blessed evening.

Hello Helen,
thanks for the update. Jan has asthma, and when I was first dating her and then earlier in our marriage, she had to go to the hospital several times. It's terrifying. Fortunately they've made such great strides in the medicine that she hasn't had a serious occurrence in some years. There are so many needs for so many of our members here. I appreciate the call going out to support our FS family in prayer. Thanks for keeping you hand on the pulse of so many gal.
Blessings,
Tom
