This is a great and well expressed celebration of being free with no finger pointed at country or politics etc for failing to provide that privilege of choice and freedom. Thanks so much Verna. I know that when I was a girl, I remember how Russia ruled their country so harshly and I never forgot how strict they were and how awful communism seemed. My mother used to tell me that they couldn't be caught with a bible or they could be executed. So I have never forgotten that and don't take my freedom for granite. So thanks again my dear friend.

Thanks for this poem. This poem and ideas are much needed around the fourth of July. Things aren't the same as even when I was younger, but that is probably what the youth will say when they are older.
