I am very happy for you Jesse. I am the proud owner of two artificial knees and a number of finger knuckles. Goodness knows what I would be reduced to without them. My "new" right knee is now 17 years old and a bit loose and creaky, but it's still doing the job. Now a disc in my lower back has deteriorated, but it's manageable. All this because I had to be a sporting hero in my youth! All the very, very best for your op.

Thanks for sharing your sporting history, Julie! I am the proud owner of a left knee and now I will have my right knee done. It is the thrill of walking again that keeps me going!

Thank you, Debbie. I appreciate you being the first one to review my post. Your concerns are understood and yes, this surgery will be life-changing for me since I have been in a wheelchair for three years. But soon enough I will be walking again and happy to hike on the nature trails near my home!
