Whispers of Dawn

This poem, Whispers of Dawn, is an astonishing capture of the otherwise simple happening which is the earth rotating around the sun. All that we see and feel are so well described here.

I love Spanish Quintilla poetic form. If I was better at rhyming words I would try it. You have master it.
Your poem is full of Beatiful imagery. ... like haiku. You use sight and sound to immerse the reader into your word.
The Alliteration is wonderful too. Well chosen words.
I love everything about your poem for example......
"late twilight sings the blues"
Excellent entry for the
Rules Poetry Contest. Good luck.

Well done Melissa. You have reached the end of the Quintilla challenge... Now we are going to be more challenged as we go on to more unusual things it seems. Kate xx

Hi Kate. Yes, my mind is still whirling with all of the variations we need to use in the upcoming verse. I copied Jim's verse from his portfolio to use as an example of form and meter. Thank you for the lovely review.

How beautiful is this! Love this staggered form of rhyming. I think I prefer it to the standard rhyming poem. A fine offering for my reviewing day. I ache for a six!
Sending you my best today as always, and a high five with compliments,
