I enjoyed this work. I like simple, easy to understand, non-rhyming poetry. That's how I try to write. Your work is good. I also enjoyed reading your biography. I am 73, on the coast of Louisiana, and my path to writing is basically the same as yours. I've always loved words and books. I was a high school English teacher for many years--the perfect job for me. Thanks for sharing your writing and a bit about yourself.
