Hi MA how cute and catchy, I am sure St Pat will be beaming with green pride lol.. have been to Ireland in 1977 and enjoyed the hospitality and fun
and even kissed the Blarney Stone (not designed by leprechauns though ha ha) Good luck in the contest

Your perky poem is a good reminder that we should honour our roots even though they are sometimes distant. St Patricks Day is a good excuse anyway for a bit of festive enjoyment.

And why not. I have a few Irish friends, and on occasions have celebrated with them over the years.

Faith an Begora, is it that time again? I happily lift my cup to the old sod. I am not Irish, but I feel an affinity to the Irish, and truth be told. On the morning after a St Paddy's Day night of rowdy drinking, I have awoken with a green tinge to my countenance.
