Hello Shelley,
You've written an excellent nonet for the contest
I think many will relate to the idea of writing
what one finds difficult to say.
Writing seems to provide separation,
one can read the words when the author is not even present.
I like the use of "bled" in the last line
as it has other connotations.

Many will relate to this lovely Nonet, including myself. You understand perfectly and have captured very well what it is to be so shy as to not be able to say words aloud, only on paper, and even then being very vulnerable. Best wishes for your entry.
