LOL. this is cute. Reminds me of my English teacher years ago trying to correct me. "No, Chuck, Walpsties don't build nesties on posties." I went home saying that the lady needs to come over here and I will show her one.
Good to see you back in swing of things,

Thanks so much, Chuck. I'll be back in full swing in the New Year. With Christmas closing in, there is just too much to do to concentrate on writing. I love every part of Christmas, the down side is not having my parents here to share it with, they are already in Heaven. Love and hugs, my dear friend. :)) Sandra xxx

I highly recommend against using the term "giving [someone] stick" these days. Not because the fever pitch against corporal punishment has reached its pinnacle, but because any young person would assume that it is sexually explicit. This was a very interesting list and I learned something from your efforts. Nice use of graphics to keep it engaging. A tip: if you don't want to put borders on your pictures, or you don't have a consistent background color on them which could be aligned with your page background, you can achieve a smoother appearance by making your pictures transparent PNGs. You can do this for free at pixlr.com, my longtime goto resource, although plenty of apps should be able to do it for you as well.
Thank you for the read!

Thank you for reading these silly idioms, there are so many fun ones, it's hard to choose which ones to research.
I try hard to find the pictures without the block background because it is off-putting. I will check out that site and see if I can do it. I might come back asking for more help!! Thanks again, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

My sweet Sandra, dear friend, I've missed you and a smile sprung to my face when I saw you had posted. I hope your struggle to write is because you're too busy with the holidays and such; not because anything is wrong. (I own that corner of the world- I need my friends to be happy)
As for your post, the majority I've never heard. Guess that's what miles of ocean can do...i need to broaden my horizons.
Thank you for sharing. Sending my love and a smile, Carol

Aw, thank you, Carol. No, It just seems such a long time since I wrote anything and I can't seem to get motivated. I will though. This just stirred the juices a bit. I've got lots to catch up on, yours will be next. I will sit down and enjoy all the chapters with a nice cup of tea by the fire. Thank you for your kindness, my dear friend. Warm hugs and lots of love. (and don't hog all the bad things, you must share them out!!) Sandra xxx
