What a wonderful treasure for Rebecca! I have a manger my dad made when he was in his twenties... It was the highlight of each Christmas season to set it up, complete with all nativity figures...except, of course for Baby Jesus... we gathered as a family to place Him in his manger first thing Christmas morn!

A tender, loving story that made me sigh. I lost every possession I had to an evil husband - including a cherished crystal nativity. But I do not weep any more, realizing he could not take Christ, my precious Lord away from me!! Your poem is a perfect one for Christmas!!

Having read your author notes, I see where you got your 'amazing'. YOur mom sounds like a stellar lady. I can't even knit a straight line. (Is that a thing? lol) A whole nativity scene? Wow!
