Great chapter, dear Sandra. I really loved the catching up on the family's history. It helped me tremendously. Superb backfill. A fly in the ointment, I see, which keeps the tension high.
-[That] will soon pass. Capital T needed here after period. A typo.
Sending you my best today as always, and six stars for your achievement,

Thank you so very much for the six stars, and wonderful review, Sal, I really appreciated them both. I'm so pleased you picked up on that missing capital T which has been corrected now, so thanks for that!! Sending you warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Sandra,
I like your story. It's told in good fashion.
In America (in most states) when a mentally ill person commits a violent crime, and is deemed too ill to stand trial, he gets a sentence of 'guilty but mentally ill.' That means he's committed to a high security mental institution, where he remains until he's lucid, then he is sent to prison for the duration of his sentence. I think this is a really good idea.
You've written a very nice chapter.
Best wishes,
Cindy

We have it similar here, too. At least two phychiatrists will test him out before it comes to trial. If he's deemed mentally ill, he will go straight into a secure mental instition. I've taken a bit of poetic licence with Colin as this is the first time he's done anything like this. But he will get his comeuppance, don't worry! Thank you, Cindy, for another lovely review. :)) Sandra xx

This Part of the fiction speaks in continuation about betrayal thru appropriately and expressive taletelling, forwarded thru structured plot development, fostered by dialogues realistic, ends with a curious ending; well said, well done; thanks for sharing this. ALCREATOR
