This sound like a great story and I know you are an excellent writer so I'll try to keep up with this one as you post it. I'll try to go back and read the two chapters I missed. Looking forward to more.

Thank you so much, Beth! I would love it if you would the other two parts, but I'd love it more if you would follow the story as and when you can. I'm so pleased you enjoyed what you read. Sending you a warm hug, my friend. Sandra xx

Presuming the toe-rag-ex, Colin, is one and the same as Grant's unscrupulous half-brother, you've lit the fuse to ignite some spectacular fireworks.
Some of my reading on this site is more out of a sense of duty than pleasure, but that's certainly not the case here. Can't wait for the next instalment!
Three things to check:
I don't think 'cheer-up' has a hyphen
I'm pretty sure that a Chinese take-away has a capital letter
I think you need more than a comma here... "It was a good act, she'd even managed to turn on the water-works. "

What a lovely compliment, Tony, thank you so much. Two of the three points you picked up on, I wasn't sure of, the hyphen, and the capital letter for the Chinese take-away. The third point was an awful run-on! Thank you so much for pointing each of those out, I'm going to change them right away.
I'm so pleased you are enjoying this story, those six stars are a bonus on top of all your lovely comments, thank you, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

You did a terrific job with portraying Tania's justified rage. And how good it is that she has a friend like Monica to support and direct her thinking to investigate how this happened. It seems that Grant's half-brother was Tania's ex-boyfriend? I hope they can get proof soon!

Thank you, Helen, that is so nice of you to say that. It's hard to get the temper angle just right. Your words are very encouraging. I'm so pleased you are still enjoying my new book. Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Lorna silently agreed. What she had just witnessed convinced her that Tania was not a thief. 'Shall I get Margaret to send the next applicant in?' (I am surprised that Lorna is in the girl's corner. I hadn't expected that.)

'The rotten swine! After all the work you put into this, I've a good mind to go and give that ego-inflated, blockhead, a piece of my mind!' Monica, sat with a comforting arm draped... (Just what a consoling friend would do and say.)

The 'ex' is a great twist!

A brilliant start to this new story of yours Sandra, this is a wonderful start to this story, obviously Grant's half brother is a thief and a deceiver, and poor Tania is deeply hurt by the interview, that she's completely confused by the whole thing. But I'm sure that's as far as it goes. Wonderful story, Well done, blessings Roy

HI Sandra, well either she's was married to Grants brother...and Grant never met her...and he stole her work...or the ex has been selling her work around town as his own...slimeball...

but Grant was out of line...he should've checked things out before accusing her of anything...

had it been me...I would've said...hey dickhead...and I mean that from the size of your balls saying I would steal someone else's work...then I would have walk out...I can get a little testy sometimes...

well lets see how long it takes Grant to contact Tania...or to figure out how long he should continue wearing a condom...

this is so far my best chapter...not that I don't love them all...very well written my amazing friend...awesome story...truly keeps you interested...bring it on sweet girl...bunches of love coming your way...Linda xxoo

say hi to Ian for me...and Graham too...xxoo

Awe, Sandra, the plot is thickening, but where it's going is still anyone's guess. Something is definitely amiss. Good job that Tania has a good friend in Monica. It's well written, but for now I'm just following along seeing where you are taking us. Well done, my friend. Ulla xxxx

The pieces ar coming together. I really really like this story and I can't wait to see how Grant settles this issue with is half-brother, who by the way, is a scoundral. And that's being nice. I really am enjoying reading this. Thank you for sharing.

You have the makings of a great plot here. Plots are my Achilles heel. I get at them through my characters, eventually. You seem to be able to dream them up from nowhere. This was a great chapter. And there is the significance of that corner that got torn off. I wonder where that will lead.

Thank you so much for the six stars, Jim, you've made my day. I'm up to chapter 22, and as I get to a certain point and realise I need something to be shown in the earlier chapters, I can go back and slip it in. It's the first time I've done it this way. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Thank you for that very complimentary review, my friend. I think your characters are doing very well with the plot. Don't for one minute forget who allows those characters to come up with those plots, though. You are excellent at it, my friend. Thanks again for this lovely review. Warm hugs. Sandra xx

I do believe this is going to be one of your best books, Sandra. A mystery in a love story. Grant is notably attracted to Tania and is shocked that she would take credit for another's work. Grant was shocked at her reaction. Well done, Sandra. Nancy:)
