Great post, Sally. And the Democrats were the ones who wanted fact checkers. The media are helpfully going along with whatever the Harris-Biden ticket puts forth. It's like Mulder's statement in the X-Files. "I want to believe." People are worried and looking for something warm and fuzzy. The Democratic ticket is their security blanket. Thanks for doing your own fact checking. I'm so glad you brought that item to our attention. I'm so glad I found your post. judi

This piece is very well-written and informative. I feel sure those who make their living as political "fact checkers" have been insanely busy for the last couple of years--even more so than in past years! I listen to the news now with skepticism! Your example clearly makes your point about the history re-writers; they have joined the rewriters of the events of TODAY!

I'm a self-taught historian, mainly in WWII and the sinking of the Titanic. I can hold my own in American history though. When I heard that statement, I knew immediately she had made it up, or read it from a TelePrompter. Thank you for the wonderful review and encouragement. Sending you my best today as always
