This lovely poem pays a strong tribute to imagination and poetry, which make an awesome team. The most realistic people can be "zapped" with an idea and go with the flow--creating a fantasy.

At least, I hope mine does. Beautifully said even if I don't know anything about haikus. It's sure to be a lovely addition to the multi-author book. Well done, Yvette.

Yvette,
A virtual six. In simple terms and complex meaning your poem captures our imagination. I get some of my ideas in the worst places, in the shower, while driving, etc. imagination is like a butterfly--lands where it will, whenever it wants. Excellent poem, this collection is fantastic.
Good luck.

I find this to be so true. When our imagination runs wild we are helpless but to write it down in anyway we can. You words speak of a artist when creativity hits them.

The fantasy answers settling the vision free, I just love this perfect little poem that could be added to the gems of writing poetry. "
when fantasy calls
the poet's pen shall answer
setting vision free" Thank you for sharing and have a blessed day.

This is a pleasant little one about the art of writing poetry. The picture is a fitting touch and the words flow smoothly within the 5-7-5 format. The poet's pen is personified here.

So good to see your post! Thank you for joining in the renga book and letting your "poet's pen" "set your vision free." By now, there is so much fantasy ink waiting to be set free from your pen.

Good evening Yvone
From early cave paintings to Anslem Keifer and all that inbetween, the human is art/the creator, the inventor.
I love your little poem and the accompanying pic. A perfect choice as she/the artist imagines her painting.
kind regards

This haiku, From Imagination to Ink, fills in nicely as the renga turns from forests to friendly denizens, perhaps. Nice poem.
