This is a cute and lovely poem. Children who are taught origami seem like they are more peaceful especially when they are bedridden. Doves are easy to make. Sweet!

Thank you so much. I have always appreciated origami but I don't actually do it myself...takes away too much time for writing. lol
Even when confined, positive activities prove to be extremely helpful especially in something like recovering from an accident and having to stay in bed.

You are so right!

This is such a clever presentation. Is there really a bedridden child making these oregami doves? If so he/she is doing a smashing job. Love it.

It is a totally fabricated situation, Ralf, but it might actually be true somewhere. (I have a huge imagination.) lol Thank you greatly for a super review, my friend! Janet :-)

Wow! This narrative tanka tells us quite a bit in only five short lines. It is easy for us to visualize the sick child in bed fashioning paper doves. The doves themselves quickly become a symbol of HOPE as we worry about the child's future. Rod

Thank you greatly, Sally. I am happy to say this posting is fantasy and, to my knowledge, not a true life situation. I appreciate you reading it and sharing your thoughts. Hugs, Janet
