I have been bird watching all summer so your poem reminds me of the song birds in my back yard. You create in three lines an image of nature that brings forth good feelings.

Ah, so that's how it's done. Love your picture, Pam and yes, birds are blessed with so much color in their feathers and in their songs. Hope they are well fed this summer! Thanks for showing the renga effect for Gypsy's book.

Thanks for the review, Helen. I appreciate your comments about the picture, and the birds with their colors and songs. We do take good care of them; just no berries unless they find them somewhere!

You have made excellent use of your seventeen syllables in this lovely nature piece about the sustenance of the songbirds which find those berries, a veritable feast.

Thanks for the review, Janice. I appreciate your comments about the poem, nature, and songbirds. I could have used your final phrase as a satori line!

A lovely combo of artwork and haiku. I can easily visualize the flock of varied birds hovering around "Spring's ripe berries." The last line could easily refer to the harvest of berries or birds. Nice! Rod

Birds are are marvellous creatures, there's a wonderful bible verse that goes
"Behold the birds of the air neither sow nor reap, yet your Heavenly Father still feeds them, you are of more value the they," Mathew 6:26. An excellent post Pam, beautifully written, blessings, Roy

This is a great presentation, Pam,--the image is beautiful, the color scheme refreshing, and the message is fun. Those little birds sure do like the 'steal' berries. Your haiku is in great form. Thanks for sharing.
