Another fun picture by Graham. It looks like the cactus is waving the peace sign at the iguana. Very good. :)
Superb poem in exquisite rhyme and metre.
They really are cute little guys specially hanging up in the tree like that. Yes chomp! One of my favourite words.
The third eye is most interesting--a motion detector.
A most engaging style, Sandra. And all the photographs make this a fascinating read.

I had to tell Graham what you said about his cactus, LOL, it really does, doesn't it. Thank you so much for another lovely review, Gloria, I really appreciate your comments. Have a lovely day. Sandra xx

I think what you're doing for Eric is so loving and wonderful. This is a great posting on iguanas! I never knew so much about these strange little critters. I find them curiously cute and endearing.
Your photos are great, and your husband Graham created a fantastic illustration. You have really covered your topic very well, and in a manner that will hold the interest of a child. Great work!

Thank you so very much for the six stars, Mary Kay, and for another of your lovely, encouraging, and very helpful reviews. I've made the corrections, thank you big time for that! I'm delighted you enjoyed reading about the iguanas. Have a lovely day, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Thank you so very much for this fabulous review, the six stars, and for pointing out those awful spags! I really do appreciate it all. I've made all the corrections now, that was so kind of you to point them all out. Have a wonderful day, my friend. :)) Sandra xx
-
You're so very welcome, Sandra. I was happy to help. The spags weren't awful, and there weren't many! I went back and amended my review, to remove my reference to them -- I've never done that before, but I like the idea, if one has time to do it, and especially when an author is so appreciative as you are, and actually makes the revisions!
Again, I admire Graham's illustration, and it's wonderful that he was able to add his touch to this work for Eric.
May God bless and protect your family. Love, Mary Kay xoxo

Thank you for your kind wishes, Sandra. I think you've blessed me with two replies. You have a lovely day, also! - Mary Kay xoxo

Oh, dear, lol. I do sometimes go a bit batty. But I don't know how two came up for me to reply to. At least you know I meant what I said! lol. And what a nice thing to do, take the spags out. You are such a lovely lady! xxx

Thank you, Sandra. I didn't mind two replies at all. Thank you, you're a lovely lady also. God bless you.

The poem has a nice, consistent rhythm. I appreciate the inclusion of assorted facts; some of them were new to me. I'd never thought of poetry as a teaching tool of this sort. I think it works very well.

Thank you so much, Kenneth, for reading and reviewing my letter, I for iguana. Dyslexic children can read rhyme easier than prose, so I thought to start each letter off with a little poem to encourage them. It will also be published on yellow paper, which I was told is better for them. I'm really pleased you enjoyed the poem. Thank you. Have a lovely day. :)) Sandra xx

I am not a fan of lizards. Not at all. I didn't know Iguana's came in different habitats' and colors. Nor did I know about the third eye. Cool! You told us many thing that We didn't know. Thank you for the education, Sandra. LOL

I don't mind the tiny green ones, they are so friendly. But the giant ones, I think I'd be a bit wary of knowing now that they have sharp claws and teeth. I'm so pleased you found this interesting, and you learnt something. I did! It's amazing what I'm digging up in researching each of these animals. Thank you, Nancy, for reading this one. Have a wonderful day, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

You've written another good story for your ABC book. I really find these
animals and the facts about them interesting. Your husband is doing a great job with his pictures. I wonder what you will so with the letter x.

Thank you for reading this letter, I, Barbara. I'm delighted you enjoyed it. The poem for letter X has already been written, I've got to do a lot more research on it for the fun facts. No, I'm not telling what it is!!!!! LOL. Have a lovely day, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

I didn't know about the 3rd eye, either, Yvonne. I'm sure Eric and his friends won't have done. Thank you for reading my letter 'I', my friend. Have a lovely day! :)) Sandra. xxx
Why are you lying on your side? Are you tired??? LOL I have to crane my neck to look at your picture! :) xxx
-
Someone else said the same thing. It appears upright on my screen. Hmmmmm.
-
You've been lying down for a while now, I just kept forgetting to tell you. My picture has disappeared altogether!
-
I've written Tom about it. I can't understand why that's happened. It looks fine here. 8-)
-
I'm going to try and sort mine out, now. I'm sure Tom will fix it. xx

I learned a few facts I didn't know. Thank you for doing such a great job with your animal. I didn't find any errors. I would have given you a six but I don't have anymore. Have a wonderful day. Shirley

Hi Sandra, The iguana is one of my favourite animals, and I have been so lucky to see many of them out in nature as I've been to the tropics quite a lot. They are beautiful, friendly and quite sociable, as you say. Just one minor thing:
that's all they need to warm then if an enemy is sneaking in from above .=
that's all they need to warn them if an enemy is sneaking in from above. (Also remove space between 'above' and full stop)
I love this series. You write it so very well. And again, my kudos for Graham's artwork. A big hug. Ulla xxx

Thank you so much for the six stars, Ulla, and the lovely review. But a big hug for catching those nits! Sometimes we can read something so many times we just don't see them. Graham is loving the praise he's getting. I think it's going to his head a bit!! LOL. Sending another hug, my friend. Have a lovely day. :) Sandra xx
