It may not have been a cascade poem, but it was a great story! Thunderstorms can be very dangerous. And as you clearly brought out with your experience, highly dangerous in horseback. Glad you and your horse were safe. Thanks for sharing.

While I don't ride horses myself, I really liked the ideas presented in your poem. It gave the reader a sense of being with you and the horse. Great job with this one, glad you made it back in time.

Oh, I love this. I am fearful of horses and when we has one I was afraid to ride him. Then one day, he bucked my daughter off and away he went like a bucking bronco.
I liked the rhyme and rhythm and the story to boot. Nice work.

Thank you for the wonderful review. I am sorry that your horse-riding experience wasn't the best. I love my horse and don't know what I'd do without it. I don't know if I can ever get over my horse fever.
