Yet another new form for me to examine! I love this one, being fond of finches. I've been trying to photograph both goldfinches and greenfinches for a while, without success. Of course, sparrows are also finches! I don't recognise the ones in your picture... they look reddish. Clever use of the prompt.

Now this Pleiades poem was definitely written by a bird lover who reminds us why finches are fun to watch. Good use of F words to introduce each verse and alternating rhyme. Rod
