This is a very profound and thought provoking 15 syllable poem. Your words are so true. Very well chosen artwork. I wish you lots of luck in the competition. Best wishes. Jen.

First of all, your syllable count is right on the money.
The photo-art selection is well complimenting.
Your well chosen words present colorful imagery.
Well crafted overall!

Oh I do like this one - and it's so true. Often the words sit there, we read, but do not comprehend. It's a master poet who can bring understanding way beyond the words. I have my favorites who do this.
Great poem for thought.

Truly blessed are those capable f saying in a very few words, things that we all wish to say, but lack the skill to do so. I am always thrilled and amazed when I read a poem that says I a succinct way, exactly what I want to say, but did not know how to express it in a satisfactory way. Hats off to all skilled poets.

A lot said in very few words! It sums it up. I think most of us tend to write with multicolored words and easy movement. Keep up the beautiful visions!

Oh, I love poetry that has layered meaning, and this one is deep -- to say we can peel away the layers though doesn't do it justice because your words soar. Just LOVELY! Best of luck in the contest.

A great poem and one that many will relate to. Poems always have a good few meanings for us to figure out, that's for sure. Best of luck in the contest!

In my opinion, an honest appraisal of the craft, with which I completely agree - well constructed in both free verse and striking, imaginative image - a stunning presentation, in full compliance with the prompt. Best of luck in the contest...

I like this analogy to prisms and poems... the poem splits its light to share meanings and thoughts and emotions, all made up of words, finite pieces, but in the hands of a poet a poem is created to be more than the sum of its parts.
