I love Amelia. She is such a quintessential, English lady, and her heart is in the right place. I'm not sure how I would react if someone told me they could have a conversation with a ghost in the room (as you know, I've been 'aware' of a few ghosts in my time) but you have managed to write the scene so well, I can imagine it clearly.
I can't wait for the next chapter!
