There are so many, there are too many who fit this image of sadness. The "me too" movement is a drop in the bucket, such a needed start. The therapy is a life long work of washing away the violation and trying to make life work. Many say I won't allow this assault to define me but it seems to always be lurking, to again surface. Thank you for sharing this profound, barbaric accounting. . . your words are screaming to be out.

Rape, like child abuse, is among the worst crimes against women mainly, but some boys. It robs one of their personal dignity, it is violence without permission, a form of dictatorial encampment, vicious and ungracious, unloving, recklessly unkind. Or perhaps, just the words on a wall with the projections of watercolor paintings fading from one to another... I am never quite sure how my work will be received by anyone. I suppose this is the case with all of us. A six, to me, is quite humbling and I always wonder if I will be able to raise the bar on my next post. It is daunting to say the least. However, its your compliments of my talent and work which cannot be expressed with the right words of appreciation. A mere Thank you does not seem enough. So this is a high pitched excited shout THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
