Beautifully written and thoughtful message. My Favorite bible verse is about the birds in the air not sowing and reaping yet God feeds and cares for them. Thanks for Sharing
God's Blessings to you.

I feel a deep longing in this poem. You've conveyed an intense regret and a desire for second chances. It's something I think we can all relate to. I love your use of the sparrow to convey your thoughts. This poem has a deep tug, but is also hopeful.

Thank you. The "deep" tug is a necessary component of what I wanted to convey.

Ah your poem victortouche about the sparrow, of one asking someone to help me to
Make me a sparrow.
Just a little one.
I feel he/she has a wish that one desires to renew their life so they can free like the little sparrow.

Yes, correct. Although like a sparrow is a metaphor, not exact reality.
-
Yes, I realized you were using the word as a sparrow .

The longing for freedom is our constant quest. This poem simply and lovingly expresses this idea. The s[arrow, a very common bird with no special attraction, speaks of the poet's humility.

I wish we could. This is a lovely poem about hope and the desire for change. We all have this inside of us, we just need the courage to fly. I think I'd like to be a eagle. Thanks for this thought provoking poem.

I like this poem though have had to do a bit of thinking. Life is a perplexity that sometimes makes no sense at all. But to be a little sparrow who means no harm, just flies and observes life...that would work for me. This is lovely.

This concise, thought-provoking poem on the theme of starting again
makes me think of little every day accomplishments--finishing reading a
book and starting another one, finishing my most dreaded chores, getting
a manuscript sent--that leave me feeling exhilarated.

Right. A different angle, but right.
Comment from Janet Foor
I've often thought that it would be great to be a little bird and fly above the nonsense of the world. To glide over meadow and streams and just enjoy nature wherever I wanted to go.
Nicely done.
Blessings
