Thank you for sharing your devotion to God and nearness to Him. I have walked with the Lord since a child. First, seeing His created world, the heavens and the universe. I heard the words of life through the gospel that saved me. My parents were agnostics and left to fimd my own faith in God. I belong to Him.

To live in and by God's Words is the best goal to have in life.
I believe you serve God with all your heart.
There are many complaints about God, but you trust Him even though there are many things you don't understand.
why God does not award for my perfect performance (what is a perfect performance? Our righteousness is like filthy rags. God is not a performance-based God. He brings blessings and curses on the righteous and the unrighteous.)

well, your words have certainly played the role of devil's advocate quite aptly
mind you,it is very good for people to question and analize their own thinking and take a strong serious look at what their heart believes but it is daunting when some of the world condemn without analizing
you have represented this sector very well in your acrostic
1st stanza is an extremely vivacious yearning for the "Truth" and strength to accept the Truth even if it turns ones mind inside out in doing so
"Let me learn to appreciate God at par with God's words to my best"
to everyone's best might be in the Word of God
yes a whole lot of people "appear" to prove God wrong and even non existent ....but.....where do they go to do that?.....the Bible of course

"Wise fool, self-declared, self-taught fake preachers, and canvassers of God" there sure are false teachings around
and Jesus said follow Him not other men
there are some churches who believe that they can forgive people
God forgives all whose heart is His....imperfect hearts...
if people think we are perfect....why is it thay think suffered and conquered like that.......we can be sure it was not just a fun Saturday night out for Him

all man created the same.....souls have many choices every single second of our lives......
Jesus did not promise a fantastic worldly life He promised to keep our souls safe if we gave them to Him and to make a home for us with His Father

I have never seen such an enthusiastic "devil;s advocate's" poem without it being a 1000 page book

I'm more curious about your disclaimer in your author notes. Many of us view our Gods (or gods) similarly. No need to deny your faith in notes. I hope you didn't do it to appease contest viewers and voters...I'm guessing not, but it was a thought.

This is amazing! no wonder why it won awards. It's quite a beautiful work. This Acrostic poem has it all. It gives Glory to God and calls out those that are not righteous. This poem flows so freely and the sentences are so visual, it's like God's Glory is so tangible that I can see it. Well done. Respectfully, -January L.
