The tributes are pouring in, and it is right that they should. This one goes back further than any that I have read so far. To have remembered Mike joining Fanstory is like admitting you were the midwife at Methuselah's birth. I thought he had always been here.

I also thought that he would always be here and was shocked and saddened to learn that this would not be the case. This short piece is a great tribute to a great guy.

    LOL, Mike joined two years after I did. I remember him trying to write two novels, and then starting his poetry. In fact, I must go and see if he ever finished his novel, I still remember it. He was an amazing man, so helpful and so very enthusiastic about writing. He geed us up to do more. His passing will leave a big hole in FS. He really was a great guy. Thanks for reading, my friend. Well said. I was reading in his portfolio yesterday. Mikey really had a way with words. He struck me as an old hippie, but with far greater imagination, intelligence, and vocabulary, all the ingredients of a true poet. And such a sweet guy on top of it all. No wonder he had so many friends.

A beautiful tribute, Sandra.
Michael surely touched my life. I loved his enthusiasm and creativity, but most of all, I appreciated his humility and the joy with which he wrote. He truly has left a lasting impression on me as he has on others on FanStory...

I've read quite a few tributes to Mike, and many loved and appreciated him immensely,, personally I had little to do with Mike, but I trust he's at rest and enjoying the fruits of faith, Beautfully written tribute Sandra, blessings, Roy

    I knew Mike more for the first few years he was here, and enjoyed his humour and kind ways. But, I have to admit it's been a while with me too. It's when someone passes on that suddenly memories come flooding to the fore. Thank you, my friend. Big hugs Sandra xx
