I hardly noticed this was a loop and your sentiments are warm yet there is great sadness in these words, 'but cruel life clipped our wings' is one of my favourite lines here, love Dolly x

This is a great Loop poem that captures the readers attention from the opening line to the final verse. It tells a powerful and deeply personal story about a relationship dear to you.
I think you meant sewn instead of sown or vice versa in line 2 of the 3rd stanza.

I admit I don't at all like these loop poems and have seen few that roll off the tongue at all well. But this one.... not only does it flow so beautifully, but you barely even notice the duplication of words.
The story is one of personal love and destiny. It is wonderfully laid out via plans unfulfilled.... "Things we said we'd always do, Do but cruel life clipped our wings" and memories kept precious "When hope still lived with seeds we'd sewn, Sewn with love by me and you".
I know that as a poet I should be able to find more expressive and impressive words, but the word "beautiful" just keeps coming to mind for this piece.
It truly is. Six stars without a doubt.

Your Loop poem touched my heart. Your poem was a reminder of how quickly life passed..and many of the things we hope to achieve or experience may fall short of what we had hoped for..but time stands still for no one..and how life can change in a heartbeat, and put someone in our lives to fill our hearts -- or can take them from us.. ever reminding us to live life to the fullest..
