This tells of the healing quality of tears. It is always worse when
you keep things in. You usually feel better after crying.

I think this is a very descriptive and well written entry. I too have always felt tears were a good thing and very healing. I find the metaphor rivers of color interesting. Does the color come from the memories? Good luck in the competition.

Good luck with this. Expressive, indeed. The image reminded me of an idea of the sixties--a time of peace and love (projected) yet, how different the contrast in our time today.
There is much to ponder when looking back on own memories.
