"To Feel the Robin's Song", is a well-written and thought-provoking piece. This talented poet's work was a pleasure to both read and review. You KEEP WRITING and I'll KEEP READING.

This is a good entry for the contest. We have a nesting pair of robins who come back each year to our olive tree. I should get a bird feeder. I love seeing those robins each year. And yes I hear them sing. Probably just the male. A really nice poem full of poignancy. Good luck in the contest. Thank you for sharing

I loved your poem! It was very sing-songy which is a great reflection on the topic of a robin's song. It also has a kind of magical, fairy tale, day-dreaming quality.

I have read some funny, some eerie, some witty multiple tonight....but not the more traditional subjects, love or nature...until now. This is exquisitely penned. Such a delicate touch.
Mesmerized!

This is worthy of six stars and I wish I had one to give. Such a wonderful poem that flows with beauty in every stanza. Good luck to you in the contest. I'm sure this will be a solid contender.

Hello Mystery Poet,
I had to check out this poem because I love robins :) It's cool to see a picture of a European robin as opposed to the ones we see here in Canada. This makes me sing, "When the red red robin goes bob bob bobbin along".
I enjoyed your kyrielle with fairly good iambic meter. You have nice rhymes that fit in smoothly.
I just had trouble with your meter in lines six and ten. Though it doesn't appear that meter is a required part of this contest.
I enjoyed reading all the things you have never done, but I wish you could have added some examples of how exactly the robins song makes you feel? To, "feel" the robins song is vague to me. I'd love to have more in depth examples.
I wish you the best in this contest. You have a delightful entry in my humble opinion.

Hello Joy,
I would say that "To feel the robin's song" is to experience the purity of nature - without the trappings of society. Just nature in its purest form. It's not enough to hear the robin's song; one needs to feel it... So the song is the antithesis of what the writer is sharing she has never done...
Thank you for your excellent rating and thoughtful review!

How beautiful! It has a certain cadence that is a joy to read. But I can tell this would be very hard to write, right. :) Lovely subject. Lovely post. Best of luck in this contest, it should do well!! :)

I think this is a good entry for the 'Write A Kyrielle' writing prompt.
Your verse of the Robin's song is well rhymed and lovely.
Well done and good luck to you with this one in the competition.

Hello meeshu!
Bob Dylan, eh?
Woah! I'll have to check that out. Pretty neat.
My college roommate - a lifetime ago - constantly played "Lay Lady Lay" on our "record player!"
Thank you for your excellent rating and complimentary review.
Lofty company, indeed!
