There is definitely never a dull moment in your stories, and just when everything seems to be falling into place, something else flares up. Thanks for sharing. Great job. :-)

Comment from Meia (MESAYERS)
"Yeh must be outta yer bleedin' mind!" The look on Rosie's face was incredulous, and she stared at Joe as if he was a stranger. "Take on another kid when we ain't got enough money to feed our own! What the hell's the matter with yeh? No! Not while I's got breath in my body will I take on a stranger's child!" Once again a brilliant write. I don't know how you do it, I just wish I could :) Well done with all my best regards Meia x

Oh my goodness, Sandra. Poor Joe, he has done it again. Instead of waiting for Veronica he decided to ask Rosie about Frances and I can fully understand her reaction. They cant afford to feed the four of them, why take on a fifth. Joes probably didn't explain it right so she didn't hear about getting money, moving nearer to her mother and Joe having a new career. I am sure things will sort out. They have all suffered trials and tribulations. Very well done, I am glad that Gwendolyn is on board with this idea. Great job, thanks.

What a lovely review, Alie, thank you so very much. Joe obviously didn't lead into it properly, hence Rosie's anger. I'm so pleased you enjoyed this part. Big hugs, my friend. xx Sandra x

You are so very welcome Sandra. I have confidence that Veronica will tone him done and Rosie will come around when she hears the whole story. Big hugs back to you my friend.

This is a good read. I especially like how you handle the physical description of the ghost, how she moves and so on. I didn't go read the synopsis, but this bit you posted here certainly seems to carry the narrative forward.

Thank you so much, Kathleen, for such a lovely review. It's so nice to know a reader can jump in and get swept away with the story without reading the synopsis! That is so encouraging. Thank you! Sandra xx.

Hopefully, Veronica's plan will work out, but I don't think it's going to be as easy as Veronica would like to believe it will be. I can't blame Rosie though. Joe is asking an awful lot of her. Great chapter.

Thank you so much, Joan. Yes, putting myself in her shoes was easy. It was hard for my own mother when I was a child, (one of 4) so I can imagine back in those days it would be so hard for Rosie. But, she got into a stomp before Joe has told the whole story. So, Veronica will have to help him sort it ... if she can! Big hugs, my friend. Sandra xx

Not to nit pik by any means, but I'm the D in JDR. My name is Diane. My ex and all my kids start with either a J, D, or an R. The BAR is added as the name of the ranch my ex and I always wanted...thus...JDRBAR. So, Joan would fit in if any of us had that name. LOL.

Where on earth did I get Joan from!! I am sorry, I do know your name in Diane. I think my brain has gone walk about and left a dud in it's place. What a clever way to come up with a unique name. I don't think I'll make that mistake again. Where Joan came from??? LOL. Here's an extra big hug. I hope it makes up for it! xxxx

Of course that would be the answer from Rosie. Because of all the poverty that was around at the time, feeding one's family alone, would be draining, but to add another mouth would be prohibitive. But I think she could be persuaded to do it, by sheer necessity. Getting Sir John to fund his business, could be the answer, God title, great scribing, Sandra, well done, blessjngs, Roy

Thank you so much, Roy, for your lovely review. Joe has a problem now, he should have waited, but he's a bit like the author of this story, she has no patience either! LOL. Big hugs, dear friend. :) Sandra xx
