Good picture. We all need a good storm now and then. Great imagery in your poem, I loved 'elated by the primal force' this is so powerful. The last line let's us know that we too benefit from a downpour. MaggieF

This is an outstanding poem, Tony. I like everything about it, including the mood and your thoughts. The reader is walking there, too, as you set the scene. Content is philosophical and positive.

A very well-written poem. A shower of sudden rain on a hot Sumner's day is always welcome and refreshing. It does not only clean the environment around us but also clear the cobwebs on our minds.
