Yes, we are so tiny in the big picture of it all, the world being three-fourths water and filled with creatures bigger than school buses. At least of those we have seen, but those we haven't may be taller than sky scrappers. Thanks for sharing another fine poem. :-)

Ya know, I always feel much the same way, dear Gypsy.
Standing on the beach--looking out over the vast expanse of the ocean...
It truly makes us realize how insignificant we are in the grand scheme of things and how we pertain to the universe.
Our problems seem smaller, less significant.
I think that's a good thing, and I KNOW that this is a great senryu.
Bravo...

Thank you, Dean, I can always count on you to 'get it'. Not everyone understands I am talking about Mother Nature. Oh well. People seem to like it so I ain't complaining. LoL Thank you very much for the generous six stars review.

Excellent. This is lovely and most well written. I enjoyed reading the poem and I can understand why the ocean could affect you in this manner. The artworks is lovely and compliments the writing.

A very nice, gentle poem a good Haiku it is naturalistic. Good choice of words and the picture makes you think of the meaning of the words. Well written.

Yes, I know what you mean about feeling minuscule at the ocean.
Good minimal syllabic use and great imagery.
