Shana only thought she would be leaving soon. Anderson showed good foresight in putting her room opposite his in the apartment. She will go a little stir crazy if she can't leave the apartment every once in a while. She doesn't sound like the type to stay put.

This is very well penned and thoroughly engaging. You keep the story moving along by heightening the tension just a notch or two at a time. It will be interesting to find out exactly what these men want her for, but I am sure you will keep us in suspense for a bit on that one. You have a small typo:
"I fly home tomorrow, so your life will get back to normal." - I think this should be I'll.
Nicely done and I thank you very much for sharing it.

This is the only part of your story that I have read, but it has already captivated me! You have successfully included an increase of tension, which draws the reader in. I can't wait to know what happens next. Your extract is easy to read (in a positive way) and understand.
To improve, you could include move description of the setting/surroundings and slightly less speech. This way, the readers can imagine the events and it is as though they are beside the character. Happy new year!

I don't like reading a lot of descriptions so I don't use a lot, just enough to let my readers use their imagination. Thank you for the kind review.

Each chapter brings more suspense and my curiosity is about to explode. Not knowing what is going on is driving me crazy. You are doing a terrific job with this and I plan to see this one to the end. As I said, great work with this. I anxiously look forward to the next post.

Well, things haven't changed much since last year, but if I were a betting man, I would wager that this story is just getting started. LOL! Thanks for another fine chapter. :-)

I like the way your protagonists own dogs, and very intelligent dogs, ever heroes in the story Barbara. I like your character list, very handy until the reader gets used to the names of the characters. Anderson is determined to protect Shana, keeping her at his opulent residence, well done Barbara, good scribing dear girl, blessings, Roy

Yes, of course Christmas and New Year is most definitely family time. I recently posted some poems my late Uncle wrote and put them to music on my website if interested. First one (Number 6 is to a well-known tune..Number 7(next one) I composed the music for the NINE Stanza poem he wrote as a tribute to my Aunty Miriam (his wife.) Hope you have PC. can provide alternate media player if needed. check out the other stuff if you like. http://funnymentaloz.witnesstoday.org/songs.html

Anderson seems to have a personality that doesn't take no for an answer. Stay on top of this even if you have to post bi-monthy. You are doing a very good job.

A great continuation that leaves us in great suspense.
More questions arise as Anderson tries to figure out why these men are so interested in Shana. Could it be simply about the art or something much larger. The plot is definitely thickening.
