Hi Barbara, this is intriguing, and quite an unusual set up. I like how he's got a penthouse in the middle of New York with garden and everything. I know they do exist. And he is protecting her. Well, at least so far. Looking forward to what's next. All the best. Ulla:)))

The three men that had been tracking Shana, had traced her to Anderson's place were she is being held for her safety, when the three men in dark suits, from the Russian embassy ask him, questioning about driving a black Jag, saying he picked up Shana, and that she has something that belongs to them! But he talks to Philip who says he was driving a Bentley on that day. They are ushered out, and he manages to avert disaster for the moment, excellent scribing Barbara, blessings, Roy
Typo : I was pulling (a) weeds from the garden.

I enjoyed seeing Anderson's posh penthouse with garden, housekeeper, butler and dogs. Quite a private and safe place for Shana to hide while he gets some perspective.
He now knows that the Russians are interested in something Shana has.
Your meal sounds delicious and besides Romeo's kiss, added to the realism of the scene. Even the rich and powerful eat.

-"I know I'm addressing congress(Congress) Monday morning
-"Yes. I stayed with them until they left the building and[ I] made sure I locked the elevator." OR building(,) and I made

Well, it appears to me that the action in this story hasn't stopped for long, and is most likely soon to reach a feverish pitch before it slows down. Thanks for sharing another fine chapter. :-)

I like this story. It is fascinating and has plenty of intrigue too. I didn't get the impression Shana was hiding anything, but you never know. I am sure Philip will get to the bottom of this. Nice work building up the tension. I look forward to the next post.

If I was in trouble I'd like him to come to my aid, and where can I get dogs like those three?? I'd like Romeo, lol. Now, we know that Shana hasn't got anything belonging to them, at least not that she or we know of. I am loving this story. I look forward to the next part. :) Sandra xx

I like the way the house keeper picked up Shanna's religion. Very clever. Another good story. I will try and keep up. Best to you.
