I wrote a triolet for a challenge once, but I don't recall the particulars. There was a refrain, and so on. This looks right to memory, and the poor troll out there in hard vacuum grumping wins a five.

That is a lovely poem. I have to confess that I don't fully understand it (my fault), but I think it is beautiful. It is smooth, like the shape of the moon. Perhaps you are referring the Jungian shadow side of us, that could be the "moon"'s shadow,
A very good illustration as well.

My reply is that there is not much to understand. I wrote this nonsense poem just for fun.

Truthfully, I wasn't sure how it would fare on the site!

I enjoyed the melody of this poem. This format is quite new to me but you followed the structure perfectly. The alliteration of m's and the rhymes with "oo" and "o" sounds gives it a kind of mournful sound. I wonder what this grumpy troll will do.

I love fairy tales, especially if they are in verse and funny. All children do, even those of grandmothers age like me.
I am delighted to provide the illustration for this poem.
This troll jumped right into my head. I know exactly how he looks. I see the musicians as well and the moon faraway. I could paint the scene, maybe I do it, if you don't mind.
