Good syllable count and the presentation is interesting. I get it but it's not my kind of humor. I wish you good luck with the contest, though.
Pope Francis is the best pope.

Pope Francis is a wonderful person. And this in no way is meant disrespectful. The Italians call him big papa, and of course the woman was just waving to her friends, excited that the pope wanted to bless her. As for the pope looking, who wouldn't. I mean, he was most likely just shocked that a woman would wear such a revealing top. I used the words and the picture to give people minds a chance to jump to conclusions. Thank you so much for taking time to read my poem. Your comments and generous review are greatly appreciated. :-)

Okay. I get it now. Maybe you should put that in your author notes because without it your poem makes the pope look like a pervert.

That is exactly what I was doing. There is nothing bad in the poem or even the picture. If we get our minds out of the gutter we won't make everything into something nasty. :-)

Well I have to give it to you, it's full marks for the humour.
'What comes up'... is not a question on the title. But if it was, it would have to be... 'An old habit.' LOL
I would imagine that this picture is a fake. Would he let the world know what happens in his inner sanctum? I don't think so. Hah! Hah!
Good luck in the competition...

Rats! This is too funny to beat! But I take consolation in knowing it wouldn't stand a chance if someone hadn't had perfect trigger finger timing. Okay, I'm a sour grapes sore loser.

Well, u-h-hhhhh..., he IS just a man, after all, not a god. And what man in his right mind wouldn't look at those gorgeous ...eyes of hers?
Perhaps there's a bumble bee on the strap of her overalls and he is simply concerned for her well-bee-ing?
Funny picture.
Best of luck.

Thank you so much, Dean, for taking time to read my poem. There was another picture that showed the pope leaning over to kiss her breast, but even I didn't have the kahunas to post that one. I mean, I'm already peeking out my front window expecting to see a lynching committee at any time. Your comments and generous review are greatly appreciated. :-)

Can't say as I blame you there, LOL.
The pleasure was all mine.

I imagine that top would have strayed anyone's eye. The Pope looks more like he's in shock than anything else, I must say this is a very unique poem. haha Very well done.

Thank you so much for taking time to read my poem. I'm peeking out the window to check the front yard every few minutes expecting a lynching committee to show up. LOL! Your comments and generous review are greatly appreciated. Whatever possessed me to enter this I'll never know. :-)

Funny! Guess the Pope is only human!
Tight writing that gets the idea to reader is a few words.
A little sarcasm there, too!

Great artwork as the Pope might be the main man, but this shows he is still a man! Excellent chest on that young woman!
The poem is funny because it is written because of the photo. The message is very funny especially the third line,,,,,big papa the Pope. Good luck in this contest,,,,,Jim

Thank you so much, Jim, for taking time to read my poem. My guess is the pope was looking on in shock and disgust. LOL! I'm still checking my front window every few minutes expecting a lynching committee to show up in my front yard. Your kind words and generous review are greatly appreciated. :-)
